About Me
Dr. Emily Graubart is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who has been with the Emory Eye Center since 2008, where she currently serves as the interim director of Comprehensive Ophthalmology. She specializes in the medical and surgical management of a wide range of eye conditions, with particular expertise in cataract and laser surgery, glaucoma, and the ophthalmic effects of systemic diseases such as diabetes. Dr. Graubart is known for her patient-centered approach, taking time to explain conditions and treatment options to ensure her patients are fully informed and comfortable with their care plans.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Graubart is deeply committed to medical education, serving as the director of Medical Student Education and the Ophthalmology Clerkship at Emory University School of Medicine. She is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Her professional memberships include the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Association of University Professors of Ophthalmology, and the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Graubart’s research interests focus on innovative digital tools for teaching ophthalmology to medical students, and she has created an online interactive cataract surgery course for medical student education. She provides care at the Emory Eye Center and Grady Memorial Hospital, offering both in-person and telehealth visits for her patients.
