Dr. Lauren Mitchell

Dr. Arthur “Cliff” Guyton is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides both medical and surgical eye care for adults. He values clear communication and a collaborative approach, taking time to explain diagnoses and tailor treatment plans around each patient’s goals. His practice ranges from routine eye exams to managing common conditions such as cataracts, glaucoma, dry eye, and diabetic eye disease, with a steady focus on preserving vision and comfort over the long term. Dr. Guyton earned his MD and MBA at Emory University, where he also completed his ophthalmology residency and served as president of the American Medical Association student chapter. He has remained active in professional advocacy, including service on the board of Georgia 2020 and engagement with the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology. In 2025, he and his family relocated to the Chicago area to be closer to his wife’s family. Dr. Matthew W. Hollar is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides medical and surgical care for a wide range of eye conditions. He joined North Georgia Eye Clinic in 2016 and focuses on helping patients protect vision, stay comfortable, and understand their options for ongoing eye health. Dr. Hollar completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University and earned his M.D. from Duke University School of Medicine, where he also devoted two full-time years to research at the Duke Eye Center studying age-related eye diseases. He then completed ophthalmology residency training at the Vanderbilt Eye Institute and Veteran’s Administration Hospital. Dr. Hollar has published on topics that include macular degeneration, ocular oncology, infections of the eye, and congenital ophthalmic disease. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and his clinical interests include dry eye syndrome, medical management of glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, and cataract surgery.

Dr. Sapna Desai is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive eye care and cataract surgery. She provides patient-centered care at Eye Consultants of Atlanta, offering preoperative counseling, modern cataract techniques, and thoughtful follow-up to help patients see—and live—more comfortably. Dr. Desai earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics at the Illinois Institute of Technology and her medical degree at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She completed an internal medicine internship at West Suburban Medical Center and her ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin Eye Institute, where she served as Chief Resident. Recognized for academic excellence and research, Dr. Desai joined Eye Consultants of Atlanta in 2019 and currently sees patients at the Piedmont and Brookhaven locations. She is fluent in Gujarati and is known for clear explanations and a calm, attentive approach that helps patients feel confident in their treatment decisions.
