Dr. Edward Lai

Dr. Edward C. Lai is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York. He specializes in cataract surgery, laser vision correction (including LASIK and PRK), and the treatment of corneal diseases. Dr. Lai is dedicated to providing comprehensive, compassionate eye care and staying current with the latest techniques to achieve optimal outcomes for his patients.

An Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at Weill Cornell Medical College, Dr. Lai serves as the Director of the Comprehensive Service and of Clinical Operations, and is an integral member of the Cornea service. His advanced training in corneal, cataract, and laser vision correction surgery, along with his extensive experience, enables him to address a wide range of eye conditions from routine exams to complex surgical needs. Dr. Lai is currently welcoming new patients.
