About Me
Nadia Haqqie, MD, is an ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care including cataract surgery, LASIK, corneal transplantation, and treatment of corneal diseases, glaucoma, and dry eye. She is committed to using the latest techniques to restore and maintain optimal vision health for her patients.
Dr. Haqqie earned her medical degree from Albany Medical College after graduating magna cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society and completed her residency at Albany Medical College, where she served as chief resident and received the Robert Reinecke research award. She further specialized with a fellowship in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College.
She has been recognized with the Residency Advocacy Award in 2021 and 2023 and the Exemplary Teacher Award for her dedication to education. Dr. Haqqie is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and actively participates in professional societies. She is currently accepting new patients.
