Dr. Diley Perez Garcia

Dr. Diley Perez Garcia is a vitreoretinal surgeon specializing in diseases and surgery of the retina and vitreous. She is board-certified in ophthalmology and has extensive training in retinal conditions, with fellowships at prestigious institutions like Bascom Palmer Eye Institute and the University of Florida. Dr. Perez Garcia is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing her to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.

Born and educated in Havana, Cuba, she completed her medical degree at the University of Medical Sciences of Havana and pursued residencies in family medicine and ophthalmology. Her clinical focus includes diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, retinal detachment, macular puckers and holes, dislocated intraocular lenses, and vitreous diseases.

Dr. Perez Garcia moved to Kentucky in 2022 and joined River City Retina Consultants in 2024, where she provides comprehensive retinal care. In her spare time, she enjoys cultural activities like theater and ballet, as well as playing table tennis and dancing salsa with her family.
