Matthew Adams, MD, MBA, is a vitreoretinal surgeon who cares for patients with macular, retinal, and vitreous disease. He treats age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusions, retinal detachments, and complex macular disorders, offering medical therapies, retinal lasers, and advanced micro-incision surgery. A Texas native, Dr. Adams trained at Baylor College of Medicine and completed retina fellowship at Mayo Clinic. Dr. Murtaza Mandviwala is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon and the founder of FA Retina in Tomball. A native Houstonian, he graduated with Highest Honors from the University of Texas at Austin and earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he was inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha. He completed ophthalmology residency as chief resident at the Medical College of Wisconsin, then advanced fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Mandviwala provides evidence-based medical and surgical care for retinal diseases, with particular interest in age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, macular holes and epiretinal membranes, retinal tears, and complex lens-related issues. Dr. Sepehr Bahadorani is a retina specialist who provides comprehensive medical and surgical care for diseases of the vitreous and retina. His practice emphasizes advanced imaging, timely intervention, and clear communication with patients and referring optometrists and ophthalmologists. Dr. Bahadorani received his MD from Wayne State University School of Medicine, then completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Florida and UT Health San Antonio. He subsequently pursued advanced training at UT Health San Antonio. Fluent in English and Farsi, he is committed to culturally responsive care and to educating patients about their condition and recovery. He tailors treatment plans to each patient’s needs, focusing on preserving vision and maintaining independence.
