About Me
Dr. Charles D. Brodrick is a retina specialist who focuses on diseases and surgery of the retina, including diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, macular holes, and retinal trauma. He is a visiting ophthalmologist at Boerne Vision Center and sees patients by referral only.
Dr. Brodrick earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston, where he was awarded most outstanding medical student in ophthalmology. He completed an ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and a fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at Texas Retina Associates. Since 2005, he has been in private practice in San Antonio and has established satellite offices in surrounding communities to improve access to retina care.
He has received several honors, including the West Side Chamber of Commerce Doctoral Achievement Award and recognition as one of America's Top Ophthalmologists since 2008.
