About Me
Dr. Hartranft is an ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. He provides medical and surgical care for conditions affecting the retina and vitreous. His training includes a fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins University.
Dr. Hartranft has extensive military service, having served as Chief of Ophthalmology at several Air Force bases and Chief of the Retina Service at Madigan Army Medical Center. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Hartranft currently sees patients at the Fishersville office of RetinaCare of Virginia. Outside of practice, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities and lives in the Roanoke area.
