About Me
Dr. Clement K. Chan is a fellowship-trained retina specialist who has been serving patients in the Coachella Valley since 1989. He provides advanced medical and surgical care for a wide range of retina-related conditions, including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, and uveitis. Dr. Chan is known for his thorough approach and takes time to explain conditions and treatment options to his patients. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
As the founder of Desert Retina Consultants, Dr. Chan is actively involved in clinical research and has participated in numerous studies since 1995 to advance treatments for sight-threatening eye diseases. He also serves as an associate clinical professor at Loma Linda University and is a member of several prestigious retina societies. Dr. Chan's commitment to patient care and innovation has earned him recognition as a Top Doctor by Palm Springs Life Magazine.
