About Me
Dr. Paul Blacharski is a retina specialist with over three decades of experience in the Inland Empire. He specializes in medical and surgical diseases of the retina and vitreous, treating conditions such as macular degeneration, retinal detachments, and diabetic retinopathy. His practice, Inland Valley Retina, which he established in 1998, is equipped with cutting-edge diagnostic and laser technology.
Dr. Blacharski completed his medical degree at Loma Linda University and his ophthalmology residency at Naval Hospital in San Diego. He further pursued specialized fellowships in retinal vascular disease at Johns Hopkins University Hospital, vitreoretinal surgery at the University of Tennessee, and ocular oncology at Wills Eye Hospital and Massachusett’s Eye and Ear Hospital. This extensive training allows him to offer comprehensive retina care.
With a background in engineering from Syracuse University, Dr. Blacharski brings a technical perspective to the use of advanced retinal treatments. He has performed more than 17,000 surgical procedures, demonstrating his expertise and commitment to patient care.
