Dr. Chase Liaboe

Chase A. Liaboe, MD, specializes in glaucoma and cataract surgery with Minnesota Eye Consultants, seeing patients in Blaine, Bloomington, and Woodbury. He graduated magna cum laude from St. Olaf College, earned his MD at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine, completed a transitional internship at Hennepin County Medical Center, and finished ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota.

Dr. Liaboe provides comprehensive glaucoma care using modern diagnostics, laser options, and surgical approaches tailored to disease severity. He also performs cataract surgery and helps patients select lens options that fit their visual goals. During training he co-authored scientific work and received recognition including the Harry Friedman Research Award and the Harry Plotke Award, reflecting both investigative rigor and patient-centered clinical skill.
