Dr. Patrick Riedel

Dr. Patrick Riedel is a board-certified ophthalmologist and partner at Minnesota Eye Consultants. He specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma and cataracts, and is extensively trained in refractive surgery techniques including LASIK, PRK, and refractive implant lenses.

Dr. Riedel completed his fellowship in glaucoma and cataract surgery at the University of Utah John Moran Eye Center and has been in practice since 1998. He serves as an assistant clinical professor of ophthalmology at the University of Minnesota, where he is involved in the education of residents and fellows. Additionally, he is an examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology.

Dr. Riedel maintains active involvement in clinical and surgical research and has contributed to book chapters and published research articles. He holds professional memberships including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the American Glaucoma Society.
