Meet Dr. Clara M Choo

Dr. Clara M. Choo is an ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma care and cataract surgery. Originally from Toronto, she partners with patients to preserve vision and maintain quality of life, using careful evaluation and a step-by-step approach to treatment decisions.

She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania and attended Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. After a transitional year at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois, she finished her ophthalmology residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson, where she was selected as chief resident. She then completed a glaucoma fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

Dr. Choo has authored abstracts and publications, presented at national meetings, and participates in volunteer work and mission trips. She is affiliated with professional organizations including the American Glaucoma Society and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
