About Me
Dr. Charlton Stevens is a board-certified ophthalmologist with advanced training in cataract and refractive surgery. He provides comprehensive eye care with a focus on surgical precision and innovative techniques to improve vision.
He earned his undergraduate degree in Physical Chemistry from Baylor University and his medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. His training includes an Internal Medicine internship and Ophthalmology residency at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium with the Air Force. Previously, he served as Clinic Chief of Ophthalmology and Refractive Surgery at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska, caring for active-duty service members and contributing to refractive surgery research. He has even performed refractive surgery on F22 and F35 fighter jet pilots. Dr. Stevens has also participated in international mission trips, most recently restoring vision to patients in Kenya.
Dr. Stevens is passionate about combining clinical expertise with compassionate care. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with his wife Danielle and three children, and outdoor activities such as running, scuba diving, camping, biking, and fishing.
