About Me

Dr. Celine Satija is a board-certified ophthalmologist and corneal specialist who tailors care to each person’s goals and lifestyle. She offers the full spectrum of modern corneal transplantation, and is skilled with advanced, tissue-sparing techniques that can speed recovery and improve vision quality. Patients also see her for complex cataract surgery, especially when prior corneal procedures or refractive surgery are part of the picture, and for minimally invasive options that help reduce drops and downtime. Her practice also includes corneal cross-linking for keratoconus, refractive surgery, and secondary lens solutions for dislocated or missing lenses. Dr. Satija trained at Tulane University School of Medicine, completed ophthalmology residency at the University of Minnesota where she earned a best surgeon award, and pursued fellowship training in Cornea and External Disease at Tufts Medical Center and Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. Known for clear communication and a calm, steady approach in the OR, she enjoys partnering with patients to create plans that fit their lives.
