Dr. William Richheimer

Dr. William Richheimer is a board-certified ophthalmologist and the founder of Mile High Eye Institute. He specializes in cataract surgery, corneal surgery, and laser vision correction, including LASIK and PRK. Dr. Richheimer is a cornea and refractive surgery specialist who stays at the forefront of advanced lens implant technology and techniques.

He was the first fellow in the United States to be fully certified in the Staar Implantable Contact Lens and the first U.S. surgeon to perform ultra-thin DSEK. He is also one of the few local surgeons who performs corneal cross-linking. Dr. Richheimer completed his residency in Denver and furthered his training at world-renowned eye centers before returning to Colorado to establish his practice.

Dr. Richheimer is committed to giving back through teaching, volunteering, and providing surgical care in underserved countries. He is dedicated to providing the most advanced vision care options to his patients.
