About Me
Dr. Bryan Hong is an ophthalmologist specializing in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. He treats conditions that affect the retina and macula, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular disease, and vitreomacular interface abnormalities. Patients also see him for retinal detachments, uveitis, trauma-related retinal problems, and complications that can arise after cataract surgery. His care may include surgical and laser-based treatments, tailored to each patient’s diagnosis and vision goals.
Dr. Hong attended Yale College and earned his medical degree at Yale School of Medicine. He completed ophthalmology residency training at the University of Southern California Eye Institute and the Doheny Eye Institute, followed by fellowship training in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at Wills Eye Hospital. He also has an interest in research, including retinal imaging and novel surgical techniques.
