Dr. Armando Alegret

Dr. Armando Alegret is a dual board-certified ophthalmologist and internist who provides comprehensive eye care for a wide range of medical and surgical conditions. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Maryland and an internal medicine residency at the University of Miami, bringing a holistic perspective to patient care.

With over 20 peer-reviewed publications and presentations at national and international meetings, Dr. Alegret stays at the forefront of ophthalmic research. He practices at Eye Surgeons of Miami, where he offers both medical and surgical management for conditions such as dry eye syndrome, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease, and performs advanced procedures including small incision cataract surgery and laser vision correction.
