Dr. April Harris

April Harris, MD, is a retina specialist dedicated to providing personalized care in a compassionate setting at Retina Associates in Tucson, Arizona. She serves Tucson and the surrounding residents, focusing on advanced medical and surgical eyecare for a wide range of retinal conditions.

Dr. Harris received her medical degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, completed an internship at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, and finished an ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. She then performed her retina fellowship at the University of Texas at Dallas. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and has been practicing in Tucson since 2004, bringing experience from prior private practice in Vermont.

Her professional memberships include the American Society of Retina Specialists, American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, Arizona Medical Association, Arizona Ophthalmology Society, and Pima County Medical Society.
