Dr. Anita Barikian

Anita Barikian, MD is a retina specialist with advanced fellowship training in both medical retina and ocular oncology. She cares for the full spectrum of retinal disease, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, vein occlusions, and inflammatory conditions. Dr. Barikian completed medical school and ophthalmology residency at the American University of Beirut. She then pursued an ocular oncology fellowship at the University of Tennessee and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, followed by three years of medical retina fellowship training at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented at major national and international meetings.
