Dr. Alan Sheyman

Mahmood Khan, MD, is a vitreoretinal surgeon at Weill Cornell Medicine. He cares for people with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachment, uveitis, and other disorders of the retina and vitreous. Dr. Gaurav Chandra is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist who cares for both the medical and surgical diseases of the retina and for uveitis and other ocular inflammatory conditions. His approach is collaborative and patient-first, with a special interest in complex inflammation that affects vision.Dr. Chandra completed ophthalmology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital, where he served as chief resident, followed by a fellowship in Uveitis & Ocular Immunology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. He earned his medical degree at Stony Brook University School of Medicine after undergraduate studies in Economics & Health Policy at Duke University. In addition to clinical practice, he serves as an assistant clinical professor at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and helps train residents and fellows in the uveitis clinic. He welcomes second opinions and partners closely with referring physicians to ensure coordinated care.

Mark P. Breazzano, MD is a board-certified vitreoretinal surgeon who cares for patients with diseases of the retina, macula, and vitreous. He specializes in both medical and surgical management of retinal conditions, and he is involved in clinical research designed to improve outcomes and safety for patients with complex eye disease. Dr. Breazzano completed retina and vitreous surgery fellowship training at Columbia University Irving Medical Center and an ophthalmology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, after earning his medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University College of Medicine. In addition to patient care, he has published extensively and has been recognized for mentorship and contributions within retina and academic ophthalmology. He works closely with patients to explain diagnoses clearly, review treatment options, and tailor a plan that fits each person’s vision goals and overall health.
