Dr. Yefim Genson is a board-certified and fellowship-trained retinal ophthalmologist, providing specialized care for diseases affecting the retina and vitreous body of the eye. His sub-specialty training ensures that patients receive expert management of complex retinal conditions.
He built a strong foundation with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology from Boston University and a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City, where he excelled academically. Dr. Genson completed his ophthalmology residency at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, achieving high board scores, and furthered his expertise with a medical retina fellowship at Koch Eye Associates.
