About Me
Dr. Ravage is a board-certified vitreoretinal specialist at Illinois Retina Associates. He has particular expertise in the medical and surgical treatment of retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, epiretinal membranes, macular holes, and central serous chorioretinopathy. Patients can expect comprehensive care for a wide range of retinal conditions, delivered with a focus on both medical management and advanced surgical techniques.
As an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Rush University Medical Center, Dr. Ravage is actively involved in clinical research, having participated in numerous trials evaluating treatments for macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. He has also been published in several peer-reviewed journals and has presented at international retina conferences. Dr. Ravage is committed to advancing retinal care through research and education.
Dr. Ravage brings a compassionate approach to his practice, with a background in cultural anthropology that informs his interest in international medicine. He has volunteered his skills in remote regions of the Himalayas, providing ophthalmology care and clinical instruction. Outside of his practice, he enjoys running marathons and spending time with his family.
