About Me
Dr. William Wagner is a board-certified ophthalmologist who focuses on medical diseases of the retina and comprehensive eye care. He treats age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy, manages glaucoma, and offers cataract surgery when it will meaningfully improve vision. Dr. Wagner completed a medical retina fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic, followed by ophthalmology residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine and a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University. Recognized by Alpha Omega Alpha and other academic honors, he brings a careful, data-driven mindset to every visit. Patients can expect clear explanations, thoughtful second opinions, and treatment plans that balance results with convenience—whether that means intravitreal injections, laser therapy, or monitoring with home tools between appointments. Dr. Wagner’s goal is straightforward: preserve vision, reduce risk, and help you stay confident in your day-to-day activities.
