About Me
Dr. William Thomas is a fellowship-trained vitreoretinal surgeon specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of retinal conditions. He provides comprehensive care for patients with diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, and other vitreoretinal diseases.
Originally from California, Dr. Thomas earned his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency at Loma Linda University and his fellowship in vitreoretinal disease at the University of Texas in Houston, where he was recognized as Most Outstanding Fellow. Dr. Thomas is board certified by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and has published multiple research articles available on PubMed.
