Dr. William Constad

Dr. William H. Constad is a comprehensive ophthalmologist, cataract surgeon, and corneal specialist at Hudson Eye Physicians & Surgeons in New Jersey. He earned his medical degree from MCP-Drexel University College of Medicine and completed a residency in ophthalmology, followed by a fellowship in diseases and surgery of the cornea.

He provides routine and complex medical, surgical, and laser eye care, with a focus on cataracts, glaucoma, retinal diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration, and corneal conditions. Dr. Constad specializes in corneal transplants, refractive surgery including LASIK, and advanced cataract surgery using premium lens implants to reduce dependence on glasses. He also has expertise in fitting specialty contact lenses for keratoconus and irregular corneas.

Dr. Constad serves as a Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School and is affiliated with Jersey City Medical Center and St. Barnabas Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
