Dr. Thomas Kincade

Dr. Thomas Kincade is an ophthalmologist with more than 25 years of experience in private practice. He sees patients at Shamim Eye Care in Somerset, New Jersey. Dr. Kincade earned his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed his ophthalmology training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners.

Before specializing in ophthalmology, Dr. Kincade completed a psychiatric residency and maintained a private practice in psychiatry. He notes that his psychiatric background helps him understand the emotional concerns of patients with eye conditions. Dr. Kincade also has experience in aerospace medicine, having served as a United States Air Force Flight Surgeon and conducting FAA medical examinations for pilots.
