About Me
Dr. Abanoob Tadrosse is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who blends advanced technology with a warm, personable approach to care. He welcomes patients of all ages for medical and surgical eye care, from routine exams to solutions tailored to complex problems. His interests span cataract and glaucoma surgery, refractive procedures, medical retina therapies, and modern treatments for dry eye disease, always focusing on clear communication and individualized plans.
A New Jersey native, Dr. Tadrosse graduated summa cum laude in Biology from Rutgers University and earned his MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, where he received Alpha Omega Alpha Research Distinction. He completed an internal medicine internship and an ophthalmology residency at Rutgers, followed by fellowship training in anterior segment surgery at Arasan Eye Hospital in India with a focus on complex cataracts and refractive surgery. He has authored peer-reviewed publications, presented nationally and internationally, and serves as an attending ophthalmologist teaching residents. Fluent in English and Arabic, with additional French and Spanish proficiency, he strives to pair surgical excellence with genuine compassion so every patient feels seen, heard, and well cared for.
