Dr. Richard Angrist

Dr. Angrist is a board-certified ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care at his practice in Somerset, New Jersey, with additional offices in Point Pleasant, Lakewood, Monroe Township, and Sayreville. He treats a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and disorders of the eyelids and tear ducts. With over 25 years of experience in private practice, Dr. Angrist is dedicated to helping patients achieve clearer vision and better eye health.

He completed his residency in ophthalmology at the NY Eye and Ear Infirmary in Manhattan and a fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Angrist has been recognized as a top doctor by Castle Connolly and New Jersey Monthly, and he currently serves as Chief of Ophthalmology at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.
