About Me
Dr. Tatyana Sherman is a fellowship-trained anterior segment surgeon specializing in cataract, refractive, and corneal surgery. She performs small-incision refractive cataract surgery with the latest intraocular lens technologies and offers advanced corneal procedures, including endothelial keratoplasty. Patients appreciate her thorough education before and after surgery and her collaborative approach to decision-making. She is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Sherman earned a bachelor’s degree with distinction in neuroscience from the University of Virginia and a medical degree from the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed ophthalmology residency at Ascension Macomb-Oakland Hospital (Michigan State University), serving as chief resident, and an anterior segment fellowship focused on cataract, cornea, and refractive surgery at Northwest Eye Specialists. She also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona.
