About Me
Dr. Tamzid Rahman is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and eye surgeon who cares for adults with cataracts, glaucoma, and a broad range of general eye conditions. He performs cataract surgery using both traditional and advanced techniques, including premium intraocular lens options, and offers micro-invasive and laser procedures for glaucoma. Dr. Rahman earned his undergraduate degree in Neurobiology and Chemistry at the University of Miami and completed an MPH at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was inducted into Sigma Sigma Phi. After an Internal Medicine internship at Valleywise Health/Creighton University, he completed ophthalmology residency at Larkin Community Hospital/Nova Southeastern University, serving as Chief Resident.
