Dr. Lisa Neavyn

Dr. Lisa N. Neavyn is a board-certified comprehensive medical ophthalmologist who provides a wide range of services, from routine eye exams to the evaluation and management of eye emergencies. She is especially focused on helping patients feel heard and supported, with clear explanations and practical next steps when symptoms are sudden or complex.

Dr. Neavyn earned her medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and completed her ophthalmology residency at the Kresge Eye Institute at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, where she gained experience with extensive pathology and trauma. She received the Lawrence L. Stoker Award for Compassionate Medicine for her empathetic approach to caring for the whole patient. She completed her undergraduate education at the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and has practiced in Massachusetts in both hospital and private-practice settings. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the New England Ophthalmology Society.
