About Me
Dr. Sze Ho Wong is a board certified ophthalmologist and a highly skilled fellowship-trained eye surgeon, specialized in glaucoma and cataract surgeries. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale and his M.D. with honors in Physiology and Neuroscience at NYU. He completed his residency at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School and was elected chief resident his final year. He then completed his fellowship at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mt. Sinai.
Dr. Wong performs comprehensive eye exams, glaucoma evaluations, cataract surgeries, and glaucoma lasers and surgeries (including tube shunts, trabeculectomies, and MIGS). He spends time with his patients to understand their concerns and willingly answers all patient queries, offering valuable advice and gentle, supportive guidance.
He is currently a faculty assistant professor of New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai and has taught residents and fellows for many years. He is a recipient of the Outstanding Teaching and Dedicated Service Award and regularly performs complicated procedures referred to him by other eye specialists.
