Meet Dr. Nisha Chadha

Dr. Chadha is a board-certified ophthalmologist at Mount Sinai Doctors who focuses on cataracts and glaucoma in adult patients. She helps people protect their vision through clear, step-by-step explanations and a practical treatment plan tailored to daily life—whether that means improving blurry vision from cataracts or slowing glaucoma-related damage to the optic nerve.

Her glaucoma care spans the full range of options, including eye drops, laser therapies, and surgery when needed. She has specific training in both traditional glaucoma procedures and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), and she works with patients to choose an approach that fits their diagnosis, comfort level, and long-term goals.

Dr. Chadha earned her medical degree at George Washington University, completed ophthalmology residency at George Washington University, and completed a glaucoma fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital. She is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Glaucoma Society, and serves as a representative for the EyeCare America Foundation.
