Dr. Steven Mansberger

Dr. Steven Mansberger is a board-certified ophthalmologist who serves as the Chief of Ophthalmology and Director of Glaucoma Services at Legacy Good Samaritan's Devers Eye Institute. He joined Devers in 1999 and specializes in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, trabeculectomy, and glaucoma tube procedures. Dr. Mansberger also performs complex and regular cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses.

Recognized for his expertise, Dr. Mansberger has been named to the Best Doctors in America list since 2007 and received the Senior Achievement Award from the American Academy of Ophthalmology. He is an Oral Board Examiner for the American Board of Ophthalmology and serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of Glaucoma and the American Journal of Ophthalmology. His research has been funded by the National Eye Institute, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the American Glaucoma Society, and he has published over 200 manuscripts.
