Dr. Steve Tu

Dr. Steven Tu is a skilled ophthalmologist and laser eye surgeon serving the Hartford, Connecticut community since 2001. He joined SightMD Connecticut in 2021. His clinical expertise includes cataract surgery with YAG laser capsulotomy, LASIK, PRK, comprehensive eye exams, glaucoma management, dry eye evaluation and treatment, floaters and flashes evaluation, eye infections, mass and stye excisions, and pterygium surgery.

Dr. Tu holds a DO degree from the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City and received training at Rutgers University. He is experienced in the medical and surgical management of a wide range of ocular conditions, providing personalized and compassionate eye care with the latest technologies.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Tu enjoys travel and skiing.
