About Me
Dr. Gerard Nolan has dedicated himself to improving vision through his ophthalmology practice and research at Nolan Eye Research, where he explores new treatments for vision loss. A pioneer in laser vision correction, Dr. Nolan has trained and lectured internationally and remains at the forefront of research into new applications for this technology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Association of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Nolan provides care for a wide range of eye conditions, including Stargardt disease, corneal disorders, and vision loss, with a particular focus on laser correction and advanced surgical techniques such as corneal resurfacing. His research efforts aim to develop new methods to treat diminished visual acuity and various eye diseases.
Dr. Nolan has been active in private practice since 1981 and is licensed to practice in New York and Connecticut. He maintains affiliations with several leading hospitals, including Hartford Hospital, the University of Connecticut Health Center, and Mount Sinai Hospital.
