About Me
Dr. Shirah Schwartz‑Jacobs is a board‑certified and fellowship‑trained pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus surgeon. She completed her medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by an internship in medicine at North Shore University Hospital and a three‑year ophthalmology residency at North Shore Long‑Island Jewish Hospital, where she served as chief resident. Her training culminated in a pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, one of the nation’s top programs for this subspecialty.
Dr. Schwartz‑Jacobs has a particular interest in the treatment of capillary hemangiomas, myopia, and retinopathy of prematurity.
