Dr. Emily Ceisler

Dr. Emily Ceisler is a board certified pediatric ophthalmologist and strabismus surgeon who sees patients at her private practice in Manhattan. She treats a wide range of childhood eye conditions and performs pediatric eye surgery, including strabismus correction, at NYU Medical Center. Dr. Ceisler is also an attending surgeon at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary.

After graduating from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Ceisler completed an ophthalmology residency at Harvard’s Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and a specialized fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. She regularly employs adjustable and non-adjustable sutures for strabismus surgery to tailor treatment to each patient’s needs.
