About Me
Dr. Shipra Gupta is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract and glaucoma surgery. She focuses on helping patients see clearly and protect their vision with modern surgical techniques and a plan tailored to each person’s goals.
Her surgical approach incorporates premium diagnostic and operating-room technology, including wave-front aberrometry (ORA) and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS) when appropriate. She completed ophthalmology residency training at University Hospitals – Case Medical Center, where she served as Surgical Chief Resident, and she pursued additional fellowship training in glaucoma and anterior segment care at Wills Eye Hospital.
Dr. Gupta also enjoys teaching and patient education, and she has contributed to scholarly work including publications and book chapters. She brings that same commitment to clarity and learning into the exam room, taking time to explain options and what to expect. Outside of clinical care, she values volunteer service and strives to make patients feel supported throughout their treatment journey.
