About Me

Dr. Shelly T. Lee is a board-certified ophthalmologist at the Spokane Eye Clinic, specializing in medical and surgical retina, uveitis, and ocular inflammation. She provides care for a wide variety of vitreoretinal and uveitic conditions, including diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, retinal detachments, macular pucker and holes, and infectious and autoimmune causes of uveitis.

Dr. Lee completed her ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center San Antonio and pursued fellowships in uveitis and ocular immunology at the Casey Eye Institute and in vitreoretinal surgery at the Yale Eye Center. She began her career as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology and remains actively involved in teaching courses and giving lectures at national and international conferences. Fluent in Spanish and Chinese, Dr. Lee is committed to serving a diverse patient population. She enjoys snowboarding, traveling, hiking, photography, and spending time with her family.
