About Me
Dr. Andrew Cheek is a board-certified ophthalmologist and retina specialist at Spokane Eye Clinic, where he has been serving patients since 2012. He completed his medical training at Loma Linda University School of Medicine and his ophthalmology residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Cheek then advanced his expertise with a vitreo-retinal fellowship at the West Virginia Eye Institute, focusing on surgical and medical management of complex retinal conditions.
His clinical practice is dedicated to diseases of the retina and vitreous, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal detachment, and macular holes. Dr. Cheek's professional interests also encompass macular pucker, flashes and floaters, and other vitreoretinal disorders. He is committed to providing comprehensive, state-of-the-art retinal care to protect and restore his patients' vision.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Cheek enjoys music, photography, and traveling. He is fluent in French and values spending time with his wife and three children.
