Dr. Sarah Rodriguez

Dr. Sarah Hilkert Rodriguez is an ophthalmologist who provides comprehensive eye care for children and specializes in pediatric eye conditions that can affect vision development. She evaluates and treats concerns such as amblyopia (lazy eye), eye misalignment (strabismus), nasolacrimal duct obstruction, pediatric cataracts, and retinopathy of prematurity.

Dr. Rodriguez also cares for adults with strabismus and uses advanced surgical techniques, including adjustable sutures, to help improve eye alignment and comfort. She completed fellowship training and has additional public health training (MPH). Her work includes efforts to expand access to pediatric eye care and to address health disparities through outreach and global health experiences. Dr. Rodriguez takes time to explain options clearly and partner with families on a plan that supports long-term vision and quality of life.
