About Me
Dr. Langguth is a pediatric ophthalmologist who cares for children and adults with eye alignment and vision development concerns. Her clinical interests include evaluating and treating strabismus, planning eye muscle surgery when needed, and helping patients with amblyopia management.
She completed medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and then trained in ophthalmology at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University. She went on to additional fellowship training at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Her work also includes treating complex pediatric eye conditions, including congenital eye infections and pediatric oculoplastic disorders.
In visits, Dr. Langguth focuses on careful diagnosis, clear communication, and a step-by-step plan that supports both vision outcomes and day-to-day function.
