Dr. Anne Langguth

Nathaniel E. McIntyre, MD, is a pediatric ophthalmologist who also treats adults with strabismus. At Wheaton Eye Clinic, his practice focuses on the medical and surgical care of childhood eye conditions, including strabismus (misaligned eyes), amblyopia, childhood ptosis, pediatric cataracts, and tear duct obstruction; he also provides examination and treatment for retinopathy of prematurity. Dr. McIntyre received his BS and MS in biology from Purdue University before earning his medical degree at the Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed ophthalmology residency at Indiana University and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Dr. McIntyre values communication and education—skills he honed while teaching medical students and residents during training—and he works closely with families to tailor care plans that fit each child’s needs. Away from clinic, he enjoys time with his wife and two daughters and cheers on his favorite teams, reflecting the energy and dedication he brings to his patients’ care.

Dr. David A. Ramirez is a pediatric ophthalmologist at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. He completed medical school with Distinction at UCSF, a transitional year in internal medicine at the University of Iowa, an ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics, and a fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Ramirez treats the full range of pediatric eye conditions—from strabismus and amblyopia to pediatric cataracts, tear-duct obstruction, trauma, and retinopathy of prematurity—pairing subspecialty training with a warm, patient-centered style. He is committed to education, quality improvement, and expanding access to high-quality eye care for children and families across Chicagoland.

Dr. Osama Al Deyabat is a pediatric and neuro-ophthalmologist who cares for children and adults with complex eye movement and visual pathway disorders. He is drawn to problems that blur the line between the eye and the brain—double vision, unexplained vision loss, and neurologic causes of visual symptoms—and he works closely with families to create plans that are practical, understandable, and evidence-based. His visits emphasize careful examination and clear communication so patients know what to expect and why. Dr. Al Deyabat completed a pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus fellowship at the University of Illinois Chicago, followed by a neuro-ophthalmology fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital. He previously finished ophthalmology residency at Jordan University of Science and Technology and medical school at the same institution. His academic work includes publications on optic neuritis and the ocular manifestations of giant cell arteritis. He strives to deliver subspecialty care with the warmth of a small community practice.
