Dr. Salomon Esquenazi

Dr. Salomon Esquenazi is a highly accomplished ophthalmologist and sub-specialist in cornea, cataract, and refractive surgery with over 35 years of experience. He provides examination, diagnosis, and treatment for the full range of medical and surgical conditions affecting the anterior segment of the eye, including laser vision correction and advanced intraocular lens procedures.

Dr. Esquenazi completed his ophthalmology residency at Louisiana State University and a fellowship in cornea, cataract, and laser refractive surgery. He has held academic appointments, including Research Assistant Professor at LSU, and has been recognized with the Chancellor’s Award for his contributions to corneal research. He serves as the medical director of the Airala Laser and Cataract Institute.
