About Me
Dr. Isi Esquenazi received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida Honors program and his Doctorate in Medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He served his medical internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, and completed his ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine where he worked alongside leaders in ophthalmology in the world's largest medical center. He completed his fellowship in cornea, external disease and refractive surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, one of the pioneering and most respected eye institutes in the country.
His clinical interests include premium laser cataract surgery, refractive surgery (LASIK), corneal transplantation, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and general ophthalmology. Dr. Esquenazi serves as a member of the Medical Advisory Committee for the Florida Lions Eye Bank located at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Dr. Esquenazi has also published several scientific peer reviewed manuscripts and has received numerous awards for his surgical and research accomplishments.
Dr. Esquenazi enjoys spending time with his wife Danielle and their son Salomon. He enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants and is an avid golfer and sports fan.
