Dr. Sahil Aggarwal

Dr. Sahil Aggarwal is a board-certified ophthalmologist with specialized fellowship training in glaucoma. A California native, he excelled academically as high school Valedictorian and pursued his medical education through Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society for academic performance and the Gold Humanism Honor Society for ethical patient care.

He completed his ophthalmology residency at the prestigious Duke Eye Center, serving as Chief Resident in his final year. He remained at Duke for an additional year to complete a glaucoma fellowship under the guidance of pioneers in the field, during which he also served as a clinical instructor for residents in cataract and glaucoma surgery.

Dr. Aggarwal specializes as a full-spectrum cataract and glaucoma surgeon, with a particular interest in severe glaucoma. His surgical expertise encompasses routine and complex cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), tube shunts, trabeculectomies, and laser treatments. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care based on evidence-based medicine.
