Meet Dr. Ryan Vincent
About Me
Dr. Ryan D. Vincent is a board-certified and fellowship-trained glaucoma specialist who has been seeing patients at Wolfe Eye Clinic since 2014. He is an experienced cataract and glaucoma surgeon, dedicated to helping patients preserve and improve their vision.
Dr. Vincent received his medical degree from the University of Colorado and Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology residency as Chief Resident at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, followed by a Clinical Glaucoma Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine. Prior to joining Wolfe Eye Clinic, he served as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he trained residents in cataract and glaucoma surgery.
Dr. Vincent has published articles and scientific papers on topics including sedation during cataract surgery, topical medical therapy, and trabeculectomy, and co-authored the glaucoma chapter for the Chern Ophthalmology Review Manual. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the Iowa Academy of Ophthalmology. In 2019, he traveled to Jamaica on a medical mission trip to provide glaucoma and cataract surgery.
