About Me
Dr. John H. Fingert is an ophthalmologist at University of Iowa Health Care, where he is a professor in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma and inherited eye diseases. Dr. Fingert offers medical and surgical management for glaucoma, including laser trabeculoplasty, and cares for patients with inherited eye disorders through the Inherited Eye Diseases Clinic. He sees adult patients at the Medical Center University location.
Dr. Fingert earned his medical degree and a PhD in molecular genetics from the University of Iowa.
