Meet Dr. Robert S Friedman

Dr. Robert Friedman is an ophthalmologist specializing in glaucoma and cataracts, committed to providing his patients with cutting-edge technology for optimal eye health. With over 25 years of private practice experience, he focuses on comprehensive management and surgical treatment of glaucoma and advanced cataract surgery.

Dr. Friedman's expertise includes a wide range of glaucoma surgeries, such as minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), Xen gel stents, trabeculectomy, and tube shunt procedures. He also performs femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery with toric and multifocal implants. He was the first ophthalmologist in Florida to use the Durysta dissolvable implant for glaucoma.

Actively involved in teaching and research, Dr. Friedman holds clinical faculty appointments and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American College of Surgeons.
